Assam’s First Wildlife Health And Research Institute

Guwahati, May 30: Assam’s first Institute of Wildlife Health and Research will be established at Dinjan in Dibrugarh district, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Friday.

The institute will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹250 crore and will cover an area of 120 bighas.

The Chief Minister shared the information on social media, stating, “Where science meets conservation. Assam’s first Institute of Wildlife Health and Research is coming up at Dinjan at a cost of ₹250 crore.”
