BRO Working Round-the-Clock To Ensure Relief And Connectivity In Mizoram, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh

BRO Working Round-the-Clock

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is working tirelessly to restore connectivity and provide relief following continuous heavy rainfall in Mizoram, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh.

The relentless downpours have caused widespread landslides, road blockages, and communication disruptions across the region. In response, BRO teams have been deployed to clear debris, repair critical road links, and support relief efforts in the affected areas.

According to an official update shared by the Ministry on social media, the BRO has successfully cleared key roads in Mizoram, restored access routes in Sikkim, and ensured the operational status of the Koloriang-Lee-Sarli-Huri corridor in Arunachal Pradesh’s Kurung Kumey district.

Working under challenging conditions, including rugged terrain and adverse weather, the BRO continues to provide vital support in ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and timely aid to isolated regions.
